This policy statement has been drawn up on the basis of legislation, policy and guidance that seeks to protect children and young people in England.

The purpose of this policy

to protect children and young people who undertake a course with ICC Solutions Ltd.

to provide parents, guardians and staff with the principles that guide our approach to child protection.
We believe that

children and young people should never experience abuse of any kind.

we have a responsibility to promote the welfare of all children and young people, to keep them safe and to act in a way that protects them.
We recognise that

every child or young person, regardless of their age, ethnicity, religion or belief, disability, sex, sexual orientation or gender reassignment has a right to equal protection from all types of harm or abuse.

some children or young people are additionally vulnerable because of the impact of previous experiences, their level of dependency, their communication needs or other issues.

working in partnership with children or young people, their parent or guardian, and other agencies is essential in promoting their welfare.

sharing concerns and relevant information appropriately with agencies who need to know, and involving children, young people and their parent or guardian in that process.

providing effective management for staff through supervision, support and training.

ensuring we have an effective method of handling complaints.

implementing effective online safety procedures.
